A loose and oversized dress made from beautiful Japanese wool mix gauze fabric. The cut is loose and comfortable with a drop shoulder, and the neck has been cut wide but not too deep. We’ve included pockets in the side seam but please be aware this fabric is light with a slightly open crepe-y gauze weave so don’t stress the pockets too much! The tartan is a lovely mix of traditional red and black with dark green, cobalt, white and saffron highlights.

The wool gauze is perfect for layering and the skirt has 4 metres of fabric giving the dress an amazing hang without being heavy. It is definitely one of those garments with will take you from autumn through winter and into spring.

We have machine washed the dress in cold water and the texture is lovely. We suggest popping it into a garment bag for washing as rubbing and twisting in the washing machine may cause some felting due to the wool rich content and crepe twist of the yarn. Shake out and pop on a hanger to dry, don’t waste time ironing.
