Kent Ambler was introduced to printmaking at the Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The subjects of Kent’s prints reflect his surroundings with sketches forming the starting off points for an exploration of aesthetic qualities. He is inspired by the simplicity of ideas and image addressed by genuine folk artists.
