These pillar (or block) candles are made from 100% rice bran wax. This is a plant-based candle 100% made from Japanese rice bran wax. Rice bran wax is harder than other waxes conventionally used for candles thus lasts substantially longer. They are vegan, so anyone looking for a large beeswax church candle replacement these are for you. Not cheap but totally amazing, burning evenly and steady, these are more western in style than the rest of Daiyo’s range. We have them in three sizes (along with the taper candle which has its own separate listing) small, medium and large. They sit well with our iron dishes and trays.
