Bunai is a Japanese/Indian clothing company producing garments in handwoven fabrics with hand detailing. We stocked this range just prior to the covid lockdowns in 2020 and I stored these safely away as they were such beautiful garments. I’ve pulled them out now as they are perfect hot weather garments and beautiful to wear.

A beautiful A-line style dress made from handwoven cotton and silk. The short sleeve and bodice are sheer with beautiful hand embroidery and machine hem stitching. The neck has a drawstring rouleau cord and can be adjusted. The opening in the front is deep but could easily be hand stitched closed up to the sheer bodice, or wear with a camisole or petticoat. The sleeve is finished with a sweet cotton lace and there are side pockets.11

Made from handwoven cotton and cotton and silk with cotton hand embroidery.

Wash on a delicate cycle in cold water, preferably in a garment bag. Shake and dry on a hanger, warm iron if needed. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
