We are very proud to be the first store outside of Japan to stock products from Nakamura Rousoku and Kyo-Rousoku+.

Kyo-Rousoku+ is the new arm of Kyoto based Nakamura Rousoku, master candle makers creating plant wax candles used for ceremonies and in shrines since 1887. These candles are made in the traditional way from haze (sumac) and rice bran waxes with a wick made of wash paper forming a hollow core. These candles will burn with a beautiful large flame and minimal soot.

Burn time: 20 minutes

6x haze (sumac) and 4x rice bran wax candles
